Luke's is looking for a full-time Human Resources Assistant position in our Tarpon Springs location.
Job
Responsibilities:
Responds to internal inquiries from management team related to employee information, including job and salary history for their employees Responds to external inquires for employment verifications (Payroll completes their portion) Organize the 25, 35, and 40-year employee celebrations Tracks receipt of all employees 90-day and interim performance evaluations in HRIS and sends out reminders/follow up on overdue reviews Add new employees to parking spreadsheet Review PTO and Time Off Pool hours eligibility (average hours) calculation semiannually to be reviewed by HR Director.
Verifies renewal of licenses and certifications for employees; maintains spreadsheet Update birthday and anniversary calendars monthly Order supplies and maintains storage room /stocks breakrooms Responsible for scanning all personnel documents into electronic filing system and ongoing maintenance of system, including files from the surgery center for audit purposes (current backlog of documents needing to be scanned).
Occasionally assist Executive Assistant with putting together files for the surgery center Maintain and update highly confidential information, protecting confidentiality Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as assigned Assist HR team with employee events Uphold the company culture both within HR and when interacting with employees and patients Required Education and
Experience:
Associates degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; equivalent experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted Minimum of 2 years' experience in human resources Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Experience with Paylocity preferred but not required Clear written and verbal communications.
