Summary:
The Applications Manager is responsible for leading the applications team within the IT Department.
Qualified candidates will be hands-on leaders who plan, coordinate, direct, and oversee all activities for the applications team.

Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate all activities of the applications team Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of all software applications Responsible for creating and implementing best practices to support production applications Work closely with business leaders to analyze workflows and configure applications to fit organizational needs Identify, analyze, and maintain cost-effective applications that align with business initiatives and strategy Meet with stakeholders from all departments to understand needs and recommend application changes or solutions Develop project plans and schedules related to applications projects Assist in the training of new team members Help to troubleshoot more complex applications issues Work with 3rd party vendors to manage, maintain, and support applications Assist in documenting departmental procedures and policy as applicable to product ownership Participate in initiatives for continuous process improvements and follow best practices Develop and ensure team develops documents, diagrams, workflows, and related items for the benefit of future users Collaborates with vendors, analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications in order to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations Job Skill &
Qualifications:

years of supervisory experience Experience with NextGen EHR and Practice Management is preferred Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred Must have excellent customer service skills Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem solving skills Excellent investigative and troubleshooting skills Experience with Microsoft operating systems Experience with Microsoft Office Must be highly organized and capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently Ability to work with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment Basic knowledge of clinical or business/revenue cycle workflow in healthcare Must be able to perform all functions independently with minimal supervision in a reasonable amount of time Company Mission Life Changing Vision is a mission statement we adhere to in every aspect of our care giving, from the moment a patient walks through our doors to the follow-up care they receive.
