Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives Establish the documentation format for all Infection Control reporting Establish specific policies and procedures for Infection Control as it relates to the following departments:
nursing; maintenance; laundry; dietary; rehabilitation; and ancillary services Monitor the documentation of incidents of infection and file for reporting and analysis Address patterns or trends in the incidents of infection with appropriate follow-up and corrective action Supervise the performance of the corrective procedures by designated departments or individual staff Establish the objectives of Infection Control education and provide training and in services to facilitate their attainment Maintain the confidentiality of resident information Job Type:
