7K a year Sales Manager - Life Safety We are looking for a B2B Fire Alarm / Life Safety Sales Manager to locate and pull bids, generate quotes, work with vendors, manage the proposal to job commencement cycle, assist our project managers and maintain good customer relations.
B2B Sales / Estimating / Project Management experience in the construction or service industries is a positive.
Average per job sales range from $10K to $150K.
Responsibilities:
Assisting in identifying targeted new clients and developing leads Nurturing existing client relationships Generating estimates and proposals You must be experienced and proactive in cold calling, developing potential customer rapport and consistently take and return calls Visiting project sites and client offices Making presentations Maintaining your relationship and sales activity in our CRM and spreadsheet systems Attending industry-related events Requirements:
You must have a friendly and professional demeanor, comfortable leading in a team setting You should have experience or be willing to learn to work with bidding sites, General Contractors and Field Service Management software You must have strong communication and negotiation skills and not be afraid to follow up with clients and ask for project information You must be highly organized with strong follow through skills.
Being detail oriented is important in this position Experience with understanding financial aspects of new proposals Project Management and Leadership skill sets Other Requirements:
2-5 years of B2B sales experience in Life Safety Fire Alarm or related commercial service industry a must have Additional experience in Access Control and Security Technology is a plus Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office Prepared to step into a higher management role in near term Strong written, grammar and keyboarding skills Strong work ethic and communication skills Salary plus commission pay structure Holiday & vacation time off, health and dental insurance and 401K with match If these qualifications and requirements match your work ethic and skill sets, we look forward to hearing from you.
